Electric Avenue is Christchurch's biggest music festival - hitting the city on Waitangi Day!

Two stages feature an awesome international and local line-up of 20 acts over 12 hours. Hagley Park will be transformed by a massive light show, giant video walls, themed bars, carnival rides, performers & heaps more crazy stuff!

VIP Tickets include access to the festival, admission to a VIP bar with indoor and outdoor lounge areas, complimentary bar and food service throughout the event and access to a reserved viewing platform. Plus a coat check, massage, style station, luxury serviced toilets + more.

TIPS & GUIDELINES

ENTRY IS FROM 11am 6th Feb 2016    

BRING YOUR TICKETS & ID - Remember this a family festival but you must be 18+ to drink alcohol. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult... Kids under 13 are free! NO PASS OUTS - this is a requirement of our Liquor Licence.

BRING CASH - We do have EFTPOS machines on site however cash will make your life much easier.   

COME PREPARED - with a good attitude, good vibes, sunblock, hat and sunnies if it looks to be fine day, and drink responsibly.

KEEPING IT COOL - Please don't turn up drunk or out of it, if you do we won't be able to let you in and that would be average for you because then you will miss out on an awesome day.

COME WITH A CREW - Getting organized with a crew in the morning before festivals is heaps of fun, so we encourage this... We also encourage you to look after each other. This means keeping an eye on all your crew all day and if anyone is in trouble at any time please alert any of the festival staff or security and they will help you out. We will have the best staff and security there is available and these people are there for your safety and to make sure your day is as epic as possible.

FIRST AID - There will be several First Aid officers on site ready to treat people who are genuinely ill or have injured themselves. Please try to minimize your demands on them if it is not urgent. These officers are volunteers and they do an amazing job so make sure you show your gratitude if they help you out.

LOCATION & SCHEDULE

This years event is happening in the same spot as last year... Christchurch's beautiful Hagley Park. The best entrance to the festival being via Park Terrace/Rolleston Avenue or over the Armagh St Bridge.

GETTING TO THE FESTIVAL SITE - We encourage using public transport, as this festival is in the middle of town the best thing to do is get the bus in to central station then it's only a short walk to Hagley Park from there... plus there will be heaps of other crews doing the same thing so it will be a fun mission. There will be no parking available in Hagley Park for this event.

LEAVING THE FESTIVAL - Once the festival is over and you have had the most epic day, please be mindfull that there will be others in the city that are going about their normal lives so we need to respect that and also respect our city with regards to rubbish and just being on to it really - we want to keep bringing you this festival so please keep it cool and get yourself and your crew home safely.
